iBOS has assembled one of the best academic and support teams in London.

All of our teaching staff are UK qualified and are highly experienced. Many have held senior positions, and taught in some of the country’s top independent schools. Shomrat has extensive experience working with children, mainly from Primary School age groups. He has taught, supported, mentored and tutored different SEN age groups and continues to do so. With a degree in History and Economics, Shomrat can transfer such knowledge in to his teaching and support techniques. Being able to relate to his own life-experiences, Shomrat has that extra sense of empathy towards his EAL learners – giving him the patience and determination to help these students to develop, gain and build their confidence. With a great passion for football (and all forms of sport), Shomrat can keep active where possible and provide coaching over the weekends.

Seema is a dynamic and experienced educator and leader with over 11 Years of teaching experience in UK curriculum schools, both in the public and private sectors. Seema is leading the Primary education at iBOS together with a team of talented and passionate educators. Seema was born and raised in London and worked in some of London’s most renowned schools. In the past two years, Seema has been leading a school in Dubai as the Head of Primary. She moved to Dubai to learn about the private school sector, take on a new challenge and flourish in her career. Her commitment is to collaborate with parents and faculty to provide an incredible learning environment and opportunities for our students at iBOS. She believes that every child learns when they are healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenged on a daily basis.

Michelle is a dedicated educator with a passion for mathematics. She has spent over ten years shaping young minds through the art and science of teaching. Born with a curiosity for numbers and patterns, she has embarked on a journey to share this enthusiasm with others. After completing Bachelor of Science in Education Major in Mathematics, she began her teaching career where it honed her pedagogical skills and discovered a knack for simplifying complex mathematical concepts. Her ability to relate abstract theories to real-world applications quickly earned her the admiration of students and colleagues alike. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to fostering a nurturing learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and question. She believes in the importance of cultivating critical thinking skills and instilling a lifelong love of learning in her pupils. Beyond the classroom, Michelle regularly volunteer her time to mentor aspiring mathematicians and participate in educational outreach programs aimed at inspiring the next generation of problem solvers. With a profound dedication to her craft, Michelle continues to inspire and empower students to embrace the beauty of mathematics. Her unwavering commitment to excellence serves as a beacon of inspiration for all who have the privilege of crossing paths with this passionate educator.

George Babu

George is a highly skilled Science Teacher and a physicist with a knack for inspiring students and cultivating a passion for science. He ardently champions the advancement of scientific knowledge and a scientific mindset in the classroom. Armed with a master's degree in physics and a rich three-year background in biophysics research, George has authored research publications featured in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Emphasising the power of experiential learning and the integration of technology in education, he is a strong advocate for innovative teaching methods. Outside of his professional pursuits, George enjoys unwinding by indulging in movies and series during his leisure time.

John Garrett

Teacher of MFL and Languages

John brings a wealth of teaching experience to iBOS, having taught both in the UK and internationally. Having graduated from the University of Nottingham in Hispanic Studies, which included a semester at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain and a work placement in Brazil, John spent several years teaching English abroad in Australia, Japan and France. Upon returning to the UK, John trained with the National Modern Languages SCITT and completed a PGCE at Sheffield Hallam University. He has taught in both state and independent schools and is an avid linguist.

Faizal is in his twelfth year as a teacher (although he claims his boyish good looks and charm do not belie this), specialising in mathematics, with 7 of those years being spent as a member of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibilities ranging from curriculum development, teaching and learning, data and raising attainment, pastoral and SEND. What underpins everything Faizal does is his honest belief that our students deserve the very best education that allows them to achieve the outstanding outcomes we know they are capable of.

Andrew is a vastly experienced and qualified teacher and school leader who has worked both here in the UK and further afield for the past 12 years. He believes in agency-led education, whereby we build the resilience and confidence of students in their own ideas and allow them to explore their world through a critical and progressive lens. His background is in The Social Sciences and Philosophy, where he completed his first degree at Manchester University. He has since studied at, and through, Liverpool Hope, Cumbria University, Queen Mary’s and UCL - Institute of Education, as well as other qualifications through international accreditation bodies. His professional career has seen him working in various London schools, with very positive results and outcomes. His previous role was at Khartoum International Community School, where he was Head of Secondary in a thriving, multicultural and student-centred faculty. He is passionate for the students to look at the world, understand it, and, more importantly, know they have the power to change it.

Honoured as an Advanced Skilled Mathematics teacher, Farshad's skill in simplifying complex concepts fostered students' love for the subject. Progressing in his career, he excelled in leadership, adeptly guiding faculties and forming high-performing teams. This resulted in impressive student achievement across disciplines. Farshad's commitment to enhancing mathematics and science education led him to vital roles as a curriculum leader, examiner, and subject specialist. His insights ensured a comprehensive education for students nationally. Utilising innovative teaching approaches catering to diverse learning styles, Farshad made mathematics and sciences engaging and accessible, leading students to excel and develop genuine passions. His legacy inspires educators as a testament to exceptional teaching's transformative power. His life's work is a testament to the transformative power of exceptional teaching and leadership in advancing mathematics and science education.

Tenesan is a teacher of History with 6 years experience in London and China. With a diverse range of teaching experiences she is able to connect closely with students and parents to ensure their needs are met. Tenesan takes pride in students' learning and aims to develop and challenge each individual to achieve their full potential in the classroom and beyond. In her spare time, Tenesan enjoys practising the mandarin skills she developed in China.

James is an experienced teacher of Languages. He has taught in a number of schools across London and also in Spain as a language assistant as part of his degree qualification. He has a track record of achievements and has assisted students to find their passion for modern foreign languages. James is a versatile teacher who has an extensive level of experience working with international students both in the UK and abroad. James is half French, so he grew up speaking English and French at home and learnt Spanish at school and university. Apart from languages, James loves playing sports, especially football, golf, and surfing when back home in Cornwall.

Maryam Sadraie

Maryam is a passionate and knowledgeable science teacher. She gained a BSc in medical genetics from the Queen Mary University of London in 2010; she then completed a Master’s degree in Reproductive Biology at Edinburgh University. Following this, she joined Professor Darren Griffin's laboratory at Kent university to get her PhD in genetics. During her PhD training, she built a strong background in Genetics, Reproductive biology, developmental biology, Molecular biology and interaction between genes and nutrients. She has been fortunate to collaborate with several research institutes such as Guy’s and St Thomas hospital in London and the JSR genetics centre. Maryam has published several scientific papers in science journals. Maryam decided to change her career direction and undertook Science PGCE with Kingston University. Maryam worked at numerous schools in London and became an honorary research associate at UCL university to promote research strategies focused on enhancing student learning through effective teaching practices. In her free time, she enjoys reading, travelling and art.

Johurul is truly passionate about mathematics which has captivated him since his own school days. With 10 years of teaching experience and a deep-rooted love for mathematics, he is honoured to lead the Mathematics department and guide our students on their academic journey. As the Head of Mathematics, his goal is to create a vibrant and engaging virtual classroom environment that sparks curiosity and encourages students to explore the fascinating world of mathematics. With an advanced degree in Mathematics, he has a solid foundation in the subject and is committed to delivering high-quality education to our students. He believes in the power of critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and he strives to instil these skills in every student through interactive and innovative online teaching methods. Beyond the virtual classroom, he actively promotes extracurricular activities that promote mathematical thinking. He organizes virtual math clubs, online math competitions, and provides personalised support and mentoring to students. His aim is to prepare our students for future academic pursuits and equip them with the necessary skills to excel in mathematics. He collaborates closely with our dedicated team of online teachers, parents, and administrators to continuously enhance our online mathematics curriculum. Together, we integrate modern teaching techniques and utilize cutting-edge digital resources to ensure an enriching and collaborative learning experience for our students.

Afreen has eight years of experience as the head of online operations for India’s leading education magazine. She has experience leading teams which include marketing, PR, digital marketing, and events. She has worked with schools from across India and a few in the Middle East. Afreen has untiring perseverance and relentless energy and leaves no stone unturned. Afreen believes in teamwork - TEAM - "Together Everyone Achieves More." She dedicates most of her achievements to her team for their hard work. When it comes to hobbies, from a very young age, Afreen has been obsessed with Art. She takes time out from her busy schedule to paint, she likes to draw Zentagles, and she is also a clay artist. Apart from her work, passion, and hobbies, Afreen loves to spend time with her toddler.

Ayesha is a self-motivated person. With her curious eyes and keen intellect, she immediately builds a good rapport with any individual and strives to learn and grow. Despite facing multiple challenges, she made her dynamic career in the Middle East. She has over four years of experience in customer service. Ayesha also worked for a reputed dental office for nearly three years in India as the Clinical manager. She actively conducted and participated in community health awareness programs for children and older adults. She believes everyone must contribute a helping hand in making our planet a better place. In her free time, Ayesha exchanges her ideas and thoughts. She enjoys solving brainstorming puzzles and loves cooking but has a newfound passion for experimenting with Arabic cuisines.

Jennie Calvert is an experienced educator with a decade-long career in the UK and UAE. She currently resides in Dubai, where she has lived since 2021. Her professional journey includes six years in education and four years in administrative and personal assistant roles. Jennie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, along with QTS and a PGCE with Masters Credits. Throughout her career, Jennie has worked extensively with students from diverse backgrounds, both in the UK and UAE. Her passion lies in contributing to the overall success of educational institutions. Recently, Jennie has decided to transition back to her previous career as a personal assistant. Her background in education has provided a deep understanding of school operations and a profound appreciation for the essential role of administrative support in fostering an effective learning environment.

Tasneem is an ex student of iBOS. She is a prospective mechatronics engineer, currently studying at the University of Glasgow. She is very diligent and rigorous as an apprentice at the school. She is very passionate about learning new things and finds an interest in coding. In her free time she plays badminton occasionally and enjoys cooking and baking.

After finished his degree in Computer Science and Information Technology Keyvan worked in a variety of IT fields. His main interests are digital marketing and web development and has many years of experience working with a number of organisations in the UK and abroad. He has been part of many start-up companies and assisted them with their digital presence and web optimisation. He is focused on technological innovations within the digital market. Keyvan spends his free time on different programming software and studies the digital world. He is interested in flying and aviation remains one of his strongest hobbies.

Sogol is an experienced Finance and HR officer with more than 13 years of experience in this field. She has been working as an accountant, financial adviser, and HR officer for some of London’s most prestigious institutions. Sogol has worked at various international organisations and has a vast knowledge of remit at a global level. Sarah also holds an ACCA qualification. She is very rigorous and renowned for her humble yet firm character. Sogol has led many successful finance and human resources projects. In her free time, Sogol spends time with her toddler and is a keen swimmer.

In her previous roles, Nazia has established partnerships with renowned organisations such as the British Council, IDP, Pearson, CPD, OTHM, OET, and many other certification bodies. She holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and is dedicated to continuous personal and professional development. Nazia strongly believes in achieving a balance between work and life. Her humble approach fosters an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. She has a deep affection for Africa and admires its people and culture. She enjoys travelling, making new friends, and even performing stand-up comedy during her university days
